Matthew Broderick gave a brilliant performance in Wonderful World. It has been one of his best performances in his career. He has played the most substantive and interesting role in the entire film. It is in fact because of him that the movie has turned out to be a hit.
Josh Goldin also needs to be accredited for his directorial debut. He has put his best efforts to make the film a success. In fact, if you watch the film you will get a feel of transforming to a better person. This is one of the rare experiences that any of the individual may feel while watching the movie. You know the movie is a hit when it has the capacity of change a person to a better one.
In the first half of the film you will find Broderick as jarringly flawed personality struggling with the divorce. He does a mediocre job for raising the teenage daughter. He then manages to get over the obstacles and regenerate truly. The movie has a very happy ending and it’s truly remarkable. He gets into an offbeat relation with sister of his x-roommate, played by Sanaa Lathan.
This story however is about the depressed man. After romance set in his life, he turned out to be altogether a different character. Goldin made a touching story. It’s all about action, caring for all others being linchpin happiness in the world. The end part of the movie is beautiful. It has a very powerful ending. You will surely be moved by the end part of the film.
There is one flaw in the movie. Most of the actors speak in foreign accent. The viewers find difficulty in understanding the dialogues. They need to listen to the dialogues very minutely in order to understand the movie. There is a conversation between Ibu and Ben Singer in the initial part of the movie about the chess game. You may find a bit difficulty in understanding their conversation.
Apart from this, the movie has been a wonderful one. The viewers have appreciated watching the movie. They liked the movie and they found it a very touching one. The scriptwriter and the director have put great efforts. Actors also need to be credited for their awesome performance.
By watching the movie you will realize that every aspect of life doesn’t have a darker side. Some also have a brighter side too.
