The Unborn is a horror flick with a new element in it. The movie written and directed by David Goyer will surly make you think over the subject matter for quite a while. The storyline with a marked Nazi influence and innumerable psychological attributes will challenge your mind for sure.

The basic plot revolves round the pretty Casey (Odette Yustman), a college goer. She keeps on getting haunted by a dream with strange coincidents. In her dream during a jogging session she meets a pale boy turning to a masked dog, following which she comes across the same mask planted halfway in the ground. She tries to take it out and find a baby still on the process of developing within a clear container. The consequence leads her to find the same things happening in reality. Thus she tracks a mother, who has committed suicide, a twin brother never born and thus her struggles against a devilish twin from the Holocaust starts.

She seeks the help of her boyfriend Romy played by Meagan Good. He tries to interprete the dream from a book on dream interprettions. While she was babysitting at a neighbor’s place, the baby boy over there attacks her with the declaration that “Jumby wants to born now.’

The movie is not about the usual demon baby plot, but the unique thing about it is that, it deals with an unborn child with demonic inflence. Then Goyer takes us to the ancient mythology of the Hebrews and connects us to Kaballah with Rabbi played by Gary Oldman, the kaballah Guru. Casey contacts him to perform exorcism. Ultimately with the joined effort of all the characters, you will reach the solution to escape. There are innumerable scary scenes that will often make you jump from your seats and spill the popcorn all over. If you are a true horror movie freak then watch the movie, you will like it and that’s guaranteed.
