The Breakup Artist is sure to paint the evenings of the couples with kaleidoscopic hues. The Breakup Artist has never indulged in violence. On the other hand it has charmed the spectators with a unique slow but captivating movement. This romantic movie deals with a woman who is an expert in braking up relations. For this task she pockets a fat amount of money. But new rivalry robs her of her infamous job. She lands up as a matchmaker! In order to make a living and maintain her aristocratic lifestyle she has to effectively utilize her former enemy, ‘love’. The plot then opens up many surprises and pleasant happenings.
The title of the movie may sound to suggest a comedy flick. The Breakup Artist is no doubt has cooked ingredients of humor. But the real worth of this film is its skillful handling of a romantic theme. Direction and cinematography have worked in unison to develop a strong platform for the artists to deliver their best. The two main characters Amanda Crew (in the role of Britney) and Ali Liebert (in the role of Tiffany) have done some wonderful roles in The Breakup Artist. Without their presence, this movie no doubt would have failed to serve its purpose.
The Breakup Artist has some unique twists in the plot, which has ensured icing on the cake. Although, Britney has successfully toyed with love for a long time, she fails in her love life with Rick (Benson). He uses her as a catalyst to fuel his own business of ‘break up’. In the darkness, Mike (Ryan Kennedy) appears as her angel when he offers her a lucrative amount of $10,000 to mend his broken relationship with her sibling Ashley (Serinda Swan). Thus the former famous breakup artist becomes the unifying angel.
