Parents should know that pirates actually threaten and attack; that Robinson fights with several homemade weapons. There is although no bloodshed, violence simply looks very realistic.
The family that has been ruined completely sets to make best of the situation on the deserted island in this Disney movie, which is based on Johan David Wyss book. Family of Robinson creates inventive homemade devices, far outdoing castaways on the Gilligan’s Island. Their life is not all about games and fun as they battle wild animals and pirates.
But their new life isn’t all about fun and games as they battle pirates and wild animals. Swiss Family Robinson is simply a superb introduction for the children who are reluctant of watching the old films. Shot on Tobago Island, the scenery is simply stunning and sets have been designed cleverly.
Adults might wince occasionally at stilted performances. However, kids will be too much wrapped to care. The young ones will surely be filled with wonder and delight by animals. But they might find out the pirates to be scary. Parents need to note that violence, especially in battle scenes, could really be the problem for the younger viewers.
This film is the best effort of Disney. The movie is filled up with gorgeous scenery and superb soundtrack music. The castings add much to the compelling story of the shipwrecked family. This movie is the exception to less weighty fare, which Disney attempted to produce over years.
If you like watching Disney films, you will surely like watching this one. This movie is a pure magic of the Disney. It’s a great movie to watch and you will really like watching this flick. This movie in fact is regarded as greatest and the best movie of the Disney. The photography has simply been awesome. Dorothy McGuire has played the perfect role. She played the role of the mother who is glue, which holds family all together with John Mills the British actor as father of family.
You will undoubtedly like the opening scene of the movie. In the opening scene you will get to see the ship nearly struck on reef at time of violent storm. The family recognizes quickly that they’ll be on island for long heave and makes it the paradise island with the tree house. Until and unless you watch out this flick you won’t realize what you have missed.
