From the makers of ‘Little Miss Sunshine’ watch yet another comedy drama, Sunshine Cleaning, starring Amy Adams as single-mom Rose, working mundane jobs as a maid. Luck was not this bad for her earlier. A plucky cheerleader in school and dating the star quarter back, the envy of every girl, Rose after a series of failed relationships is left working as a household maid now. When her son is expelled out of school and her effort to help her sister succeed in life fails, Rose takes up the advice of her ex-lover, Mac-a police detective, to be a crime scene clean-up. Her sister, still living under her father’s roof, joins Rose in the business, finding respect for one another and forming the sibling bond they have always carved. Rose and Norah find joy and face the challenge of being there for one another in any situation, discovering personal healing in the most unexpected form.

The movie brings out Adams and Blunts chemistry in an impressive form and spins around it throughout the movie. Optimism and positive nature of Rose for her job complements Norah’s cynical and wicked humor. Jason Spevak has played a fantastic role of a small independent feature as Roses son, Oscar.
