For us Trekkie….its a little shock some characters are distorted….the father of James Kirk was not an officer of Star Fleet….he was a farmer and even James Kirk admitted in many TV series….Amanda did not die young…..Chief Eng Scotty is always 3th in the line of command…..ensigh chekov…..was 21 when he has his 1st duty in a Star Ship….and thank for including Capt Chris Pike the 1st Capt of the Star Ship Enterprise

Great movie.
I have come to hate Trekkie’s, just don’t point out floors in films, no one really cares, films aren’t there to make sense to other films of a different era their there to entertain and yes the old star trek films did that well but so does this one and it doesn’t matter in there are plot holes to the old star trek films because its a modern take on the adventure.
What a movie.
