The latest sci-fi movie for the year 2010 is director Tibor Takács’ Meteor Storm which was released on 20th January, 2010. The film is a story about one man who is trying to save the city of San Francisco from a Meteor Storm which is suddenly heading towards the city.
The lead role in the movie is played by actor Michael Trucco who is well-known for his role in the movie Battle star Galactica. In his latest movie, Meteor Storm, he plays the role of San Francisco’s Disaster Officer, who has the responsibility of evacuating the locals from the city before it is destroyed by a meteor storm.
The meteor storm begins when an asteroid passes by our planet and a meteor shower soon transforms into a deadly meteor storm. One of the city’s scientists soon discovers that it’s not the meteors that will destroy the city and our planet but the asteroid itself, as it is getting pulled in by Earth’s atmosphere.
The scientist’s role in the movie is played by Kari Matchett who is trying to find a solution while Michael Trucco evacuates the city. The scientist doesn’t have a lot of time on her hand and she soon has to find a solution to the asteroid problem before we are destroyed to extinction.
Actors Kari Matchett and Michael Trucco have acted really well and compliment each other well throughout the movie. The movie promises a lot of action and many hope that it lives up to its expectation. This movie will be 2010’s first major science fiction film in Hollywood.
