Summer’s synonymous with the release of the best movies hoping to get the best audience. And watching a movie with a great star cast is always a pleasure. Well, how do you like the sound of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz teaming up? Sound exciting to you? Would you like to check out the chemistry between them? Watch Knight and Day which will be coming to a theater near you on the 2nd of July, 2010.
Written by Patrick O’Neill and directed by James Mangold, Knight and Day is an action-cum-comedy movie. The film starts with an attractive Mid-western woman going on a blind date with a federal agent in possession of a very advanced piece of technology that must not fall into the hands of the evil.
Before she realizes it, she’s drawn into the espionage and is forced to team up with the spy and flee the country with him. She finds herself racing across the planet to ensure her own and his survival. Is there anyone they can trust in this shifting, disloyal world?
The original script of the film, entitled Troubled Man was penned by Patrick O’Neill but then went through several subsequent rewrites. Only then did Tom and Cameron give their approval
he cast also includes Maggie Grace, Paul Dano, and Marc Blucas and will be distributed by 20th Century Fox. A lot of filming has already been completed, primarily taking place in the state of Massachusetts. It’s being produced by Broken Road Productions and Tree Line Film.
