Frozen Kiss is a wonderful romantic drama based on a true story. The film explores the lives of a young couple when they are stranded on the road due to a dangerous blizzard. The posters of the movie show the female lead having her face covered with bits of ice and sporting a melancholic look. The beautiful girl speaks volumes with the intensity of her blue eyes. Frozen Kiss is a film, which will surely going to touch your hearts. It is a movie with which you can every easily identify yourself.
The main characters of the film are Shelley Ryan, Gayle, Bruce Larry, Jeanette, and Miranda. All the main actors of the film have tried to give their best performances. The director has been very careful in plot handling. The film is not a usual spicy romantic flick. The film has a message, which had to be conveyed to the audiences. The director did his job with great subtlety and made it one of the best movies of the year.
The name of the film is very philosophical. When the blizzard attacks the young couple in between the lonely road, the audiences understand the meaning of the film’s name. The kiss of the ice froze the consciousness of the young couple and they could do nothing but hallucinate and wait for their end. Though the couple tried their best in order to contact the rescue team and save their lives. But all their efforts proved futile when finally no help arrived to take them out of that situation.
Directed By Bromley Davenport, Frozen Kiss is a film with a difference. Don’t interpret it as a film, which depicts the danger of natural calamity. The film explores the human psyche and the nature’s wrath in a wonderful manner. You might have liked watching a snowstorm before watching the film. But when the lethal blizzard takes away the lives of two innocent individuals your mind will surely be affected.
The extraordinary light and sound effects of the film are worth mentioning. The director has used the lights in a beautiful way. When Shelley looks at the darkness with a blank expression, the director uses blue lights to intensify the situation. Darkness and ice are the two main supporting characters of the film. Though both the above mentioned things are abstractions and cant speak or move, but still they played a big role in giving a special touch to the film.
