Friday at Dewaynes is an entertaining family drama. The movie is the story of a teenager named Dewayne. The plot revolves round one Friday in Dewayne’s life. The plot of the story is straightforward and there are very less twists or turns. The film belongs to the genre of comedy and is filled with hilarious dialogues.
The film begins with Dewayne’s parents leaving their house for a weekend trip. Dewayne is left at home alone. His friend Reggie is very mischievous and comes up with an idea of a house party at Dewayne’s place. Thus the film is aptly named as Friday at Dewayne’s. The very idea of teenagers partying within a house is dreadful for their parents. And that is what happens at Dewayne’s house when his parents are away.
Finally Dewayne gives in to his friends’ wishes and arranges for the most splendid house part of the year. This is not an end to the story. The real fun begins from the time when Dewayne starts planning and arranging for the party at home. He is closely being watched by his neighbors, principal and grandma. His nosy grandma poses lots of difficulty on his way of arranging the party.
At last Dewayne is successful in arranging the best house party of the year at his place. What happens next? For that you must watch the movie and satisfy all your queries. Dewayne will be left with an uphill task of arranging back his house all over after the party. The teenagers will be seen enjoying very much at the party.
Director Marcello Thedford has presented a simple plot in an extremely interesting manner. Actor Justin Aron Danielles was marvelous in the role of Dewayne. His friend Reggie and a group of other youngsters have given a brilliant performance as well. The character of grandma is admirable and loving.
The movie is a family entertainer. You can enjoy watching Friday at Dewayne’s with your kids. While watching this film you can actually trace back your own teenage days when you must have been very similar to that Dewayne and his jovial friends. Partying is a passion of teenagers and that’s what Thedford has portrayed in his movie.
Young Dewayne goes to the extent of taking a series of risk in order to arrange a big bash at his place. Neither the nosy grandma nor the watchful neighbors could stop Dewayne from arranging a party at his place. It’s a film about fun, entertainment, party, youngsters and the development of the young minds. So don’t miss it.
