There are numerous films, which hit the theaters on special occasions. Halloween is a popular event in this regard. Deadly Little Christmas is one such movie, which has sparkled the dark nights of the Halloween. This movie deals with a serial killer. The blood-tinged scenes of the movie are sure to put the audience on the edge of their seats.
All through its running time, Deadly Little Christmas will enchant the audience with its scenes of violence. Devin Merriman is the protagonist as well as the psychotic serial killer of the film. Fifteen years have passed since committed his first crime of murder at the age of eight. A unique feature of his first crime was that he committed the murder on the eve of Christmas. He landed up in an asylum. Now, after so many years he escapes from his confinement to repeat his crime. But this time his act will be more gruesome. Long 15 years has made him riper. So, he has discovered unique means to finish his targets in gory ways. If he succeeds in his new initiative, then his former town will witness some of the deadliest murders in crime history.
Director Novin Shakiba has deftly handled the elements of a low budget film to come out with a startling movie. He has been able to produce the effects of a high-end film within the limited boundary of Deadly Little Christmas. In ensuring entertainment for the audience, this movie has come out with fly colors. It has succeeded in deft handling of plot and dialogues.
Small sweet scenes are being immediately followed by ghastly acts to enhance the pathos of Deadly Little Christmas. For example, the very beginning sequence is a representation of the cruel irony that has engulfed the plot. It has portrayed a happy family on a Christmas day with father, mother and three small kids. The dad appears as Santa Claus and seen presenting attractive gifts to the children. But darkness follows Christmas sparkles. Unaware of the mother and the children, the dad starts some amorous moments with sexy maid. Soon, blood enters the plot with a murderer stabs both of them to death. Thus starts the heinous journey of Devin.
In the role of Devin, Samuel Nathan Hoffmire has done a commendable job. His natural acting has infused life in the character of a psychopath serial killer. The film script also deserves special praise. Jeremiah Campbell and Novin Shakiba have jointly composed a highly heartening story for Deadly Little Christmas. The high sounding dialogues have truly heightened the charm of this thriller movie.
