Starring Laurence Fishburn, Jean Reno, Matt Dilon and Amaury Nolasco Armored is a wonderful thriller. The plot of the story is very simple with lots of twists and turns. The story revolves round the life of a group of officers working at an Armored transport security firm. The film portrays how the lust for money can make a group of dedicated Armored security workers stake their lives.
The crew working at the transport security firm thinks of a plan where they can earn 10million dollars without causing harm to anyone. Their plan seems to be foolproof until the appearance of a sudden witness. The men find themselves in the midst of a vital heist where they are finally pitted against their own company.
Directed by Nimrod Antal and written by James V Simpson Armored is the story of a group of men who fight for their survival on a dog-eat- dog battlefield. Emergence of a sudden witness disrupts the plot and gives rise to certain complications. The unravelling of the plan and piling up of complications happen very fast.
Audiences are provided with sudden twists within no time. After the unravelling of the plan, starts the real drama. Some wonderfully fabricated action scenes where the men fight for their lives and reputation will surely leave a mark on your mind. The film is a bit different from the usual action flicks.
There is not a single scene when the audiences might feel uncomfortable. Whether you are an action admirer or a simple viewer, Armored is definitely a must watch for all. The plot develops slowly but steadily. With the development of the plot, the characters also begin to mature. The audiences can very well connect to the characters by the end of the movie.
Though Armored is not a stereotyped good vs evil movie, but at the end we find the bunch of good men winning over the evils. The story is about lust for money and getting de-tracked due to that reason. The director has tried conveying a beautiful message through his creation.
Money can bring certain uncomfortable situations in life. The futility of money is reminded every time the crew gets trapped in some serious difficulty. There is a moral in the story. Greed for money leads to terror and death. All the lead actors were symbols of goodness. Audiences are very satisfied with the awesome performances of the lead actors.
