Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakuel is a beautiful animated movie, which is liked by children all over the world. Chipmunks have been admired by kids always for their innocence and harmless nature. The famous chipmunk trio does a noble job in order to save the prestige of their school. Director Betty Thomas has tried to present the Chipmunks in a beautiful manner. The director vested all kinds of human emotions in these chipmunks and tried to make a film, which will touch the human hearts.

Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakuel feature the pop sensations Simon Theodore and Alvin as the main protagonists of the film. The three chipmunks are kept in the custody of Toby, nephew of their real master Dave Seville. Due to some reason, which you will understand when, you watch the movie. Seville left three of his chipmunks to Toby. The chipmunks have to leave their stardom and be simple school kids in order to save the school by winning the inter school musical programme which has a prize money worth 25,000 dollars.

The movie find the Alvin and his friends pass through ups and downs while being at the school. The film takes an important twist when the chipmunks come across equally talented group female singers called The Chipettes. Music is the main theme of the plot but the director has entwined the lives of the chipmunks with the main plot in a wonderful manner.

This movie is the sequel to the Alvin and Chipmunks released in 2007 and is regarded to be a perfect sequel to the earlier film. The introduction of the female counterparts of the famous chipmunks is an added attraction. The animation is done with great perfection and the audiences will have to stick to their seats till the end. The film also features actors of great repute in some of the leading roles.

The film has been extremely successful in US, Canada and all over world. It has accrued about $112 in its first week of release. The kiddies are entertained very much with this new venture of Alvin and his friends. The last scene of the movie where the Chipmunks are found with the Chipettes in beach, kitchen and garden assures of an ongoing relationship between them. It is good news for the Alvin fans because their relation could very well lead to the production of another sequel.
