The sequel named Aliens is more action packed and thrilling with Terminator kind of violence. Cameron changes the Survivor of the first movie, Lieutenant Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) to a fighter who desperate to get rid of her nightmares of the past and of course the aliens who have invaded planet earth. Years after Ellen had blasted the alien into space in the first film, she still has nightmares on what went aboard on the Nostromo. No one actually believes her version of the story and thinks that she is going mad. But then, a human colony vanishes all of a sudden and people start taking Ellen seriously. Ripley and her friends are brought together to form a team of hard-butt marines who are entrusted with the task of find out the beasts from outer space and destroy them. The entire star cast, including the likes of Michael Biehn, Paul Reiser and Lance Henriksen, play vital roles and with their power packed performances they have given a new dimension to the movie. Carrie Henn as Newt, a little survivor on the base, has meaningful performance to bring out the relationship between Ripley and herself. Sigourney Weaver also gives modern cinema one of the most distinctive female roles, which blends action, beauty and brains.
