The film has been a great surprise for the movie freaks. Viewers were actually expecting a lightweight teen fare piece. The movie came in with profound depth, solid direction, impeccable performances and excellent pacing through a very difficult story. Moore is a superstar. Shane West however, has really been superb. The biggest surprise has been the acting of Lauren German. Lauren is not only a good actress she is also very beautiful and you will enjoy watching her.

The story’s religious elements are interlaced effectively into narrative without even feeling like viewer being fed forcefully a theological viewpoint. This movie however is a true tearjerker that leaves you feeling optimistic and uplifted. Watching the movie for once won’t satisfy you. You would like to watch it more and more after watching it for once.

A Way To Remember is a very charming movie. The movie’s plot seems to be primarily a rather unsurprising foray into traditional territory of the bad boy meeting the good but a plan and simple girl. At a point of time in the movie, the girl transforms momentarily from the ugly duckling to a swan.

Now, you may feel that you know exactly what will happen next in the movie. You may be fully convinced that complete culmination is for the girl for gaining some acceptance in the peer group. Presence of the seemingly protective dad hints at the overtones that might be the kind of the parental tyrant figure from whom she might need some kind of the heroic liberation.

With Jammie revealing her secret, all becomes very clear. The plot is quite absorbing. Performances in the movie have been heartfelt and competent. Shane West has given an admirable performance of the angry young guy on reformation path. Morre is almost graceful and strong enough in her part as Jammie. She has been able to enhance the charm of the romantic interlude with many vocal solos.

Peter Coyote and Daryl Hannah are both acted pretty well. They have been able to add lovely depth to general proceedings. Their roles are really mention-worthy. There is no reason for people to dislike this film. This film is filled up with romance in monumental dosage. You will find no or very little sexual content in the movie. Emphasis is rather put on sincere and admirable aspects of the courtship, which is very little seen, in the average teen films.
